Alicia Kort is a writer, editor, and affiliate expert based in Brooklyn. She was most a temporary editorial project manager for Hearst’s fashion and luxury titles. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in magazine editing. She's been published on Esquire, Town & Country, ELLE, Apartment Therapy, The Kitchn, StyleCaster, Electric Literature, Newsweek, Interview, Paste, and Brooklyn magazine. She also serves as the copy and newsletter manager and NYC Book Club lead for Our Third Place, a women’s media networking organization.

Outside of media, she was the associate nonfiction editor for Carve for two years and served as a short story fiction judge for NYC Midnights.
